Writers in Chinese traditional literature have expressed many different themes. I looked at how their role in society affected their preference to write about grand or small traditions.
In collaboration with Dew Intarachumnum and Joy Kang, we were inspired by our experiences of learning a second language to research whether there is a critical age to learn a second language and whether language dominance in bilingual children is inevitable.
Tea is a drink with a very long history in many countries in Asia. I decided to trace the history and role of tea in Hong Kong from the past to the present.
